Main Features
The UBOS project offers three key components to make self-hosting easier:
- UBOS Gears: A set of tools that enables users to install, upgrade, configure, and manage self-hosted applications on various devices, from cloud servers to Raspberry Pi.
- UBOS Linux: A subset of Arch Linux, specifically designed for easy administration and whole-stack system upgrades, making it a reliable foundation for running UBOS-based services.
- UBOS Mesh (in progress): An initiative aimed at simplifying the development of software for the social web of peers.
The project's goal is to make self-hosting more accessible and user-friendly, enabling individuals and organizations to take control of their online presence and interactions without relying on centralized platforms.
