Galene is a videoconference server that makes it easy to deploy and requires only moderate server resources. Originally designed for lectures, conferences, and student tutorials, Galene has been successfully used in production at two major universities for various purposes, including lectures, staff meetings, and even hosting conferences.

Main Features of Galene

Galene's server-side is implemented in Go and uses the Pion implementation of WebRTC. The default client is implemented in JavaScript and works on recent versions of all major web browsers, both on desktop and mobile. Galene supports:
